TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee’s personal assistant Sumit Roy
Kolkata: Trinamool MP Abhishek Banerjee’s personal secretary Sumit Roy faced yet another round of questioning by CID at Bhavani Bhawan on Tuesday – his fourth consecutive day of interrogation in connection with two separate cases.On Tuesday, Roy arrived at the CID headquarters at 9.49am and exited around 6.30pm, undergoing nearly eight-and-a-half hours of quizzing. Roy has now faced around 36 hours of interrogation over four days.He has been summoned once again on Wednesday.According to officials, Tuesday’s session focused primarily on the Debra recruitment scam.Roy had moved Calcutta High Court on Monday, challenging four FIRs lodged against him.
