DU Begins Registration for Two PG Programmes, Nearly 1.5 Lakh UG Applications Received

New Delhi: Delhi University has announced the commencement of registrations for two postgraduate admission programmes while also releasing the latest updates on admissions to undergraduate, postgraduate, BTech and five-year integrated law programmes.According to an admission update issued by the university, registrations have begun for its one-year postgraduate programmes for students who have completed a four-year undergraduate programme under UGCF 2022, based on the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, from DU.“Admissions to one-year postgraduate programmes listed in this BOI will be based on the merit scores obtained after completing four years of bachelor’s degree programme of the university as per the respective programme-specific eligibility published in this bulletin,” the university said.The university has also invited applications from GAT-B 2026 qualified candidates for admission to its two-year M.Sc. in Plant Molecular Biology and Biotechnology (Batch of 2026–2028) for the 2026-27 academic session.Sharing an update on undergraduate admissions, the university said it has received 1,48,407 applications so far, while 62,524 candidates have attempted Phase II of the admission process. Candidates can fill their programme and college preferences until 11:59 pm Saturday, July 11.For the two-year postgraduate admissions, the university said 9,500 admissions have been completed so far. It added that the min-entry window will close at 11:59 pm Sunday, July 5.“The third list along with allocations to performance-based programmes such as MFA, B.P.Ed, M.P.Ed and Music will be declared on July 09, 2026,” the university said.The university further said that the second allocation list for BTech admissions has already been declared. Shortlisted candidates have been asked to accept their allotted seats by 4:59 pm Wednesday, July 8.For admissions to the five-year integrated law programmes, the university said the first spot round has been declared. Interested candidates can apply until 11:59 pm on July 7.
