New Delhi: Police have identified and examined Nishant Tyagi (36) in connection with a series of hoax bomb threat emails sent to multiple sensitive organisations and an international commercial flight.The threat emails were received on June 29 that falsely claimed explosives were planted at locations, including the headquarters of the NIA, ISRO, NPCIL, DRDO, the Ministry of Civil Aviation, and an Air India flight.Investigation analyzed the email trails, tracing two gmail accounts to a mobile number located in Ghaziabad, UP.On June 30, cops held Tyagi from his residence in Sanyog Nagar.Police said that Tyagi has a history of illness and has been undergoing treatment since 2008. No explosives or suspicious materials were recovered.
