Bengaluru: A city vaastu expert was booked for allegedly sexually harassing and assaulting a woman who had approached him for professional consultation. However, the guru later filed a counter-complaint, accusing her and her two male associates of trying to blackmail him.The cases are registered at Govindarajanagar police station in west Bengaluru. According to the woman, the vaastu guru sexually assaulted her on the evening of April 4 in a private office in Vijayanagar. The accused was identified as Shantakumar, and the woman’s associates have been named as Jamal and Amrutalingam.“Both parties know each other and were in touch before the incident. Our investigations will reveal why the vaastu expert is facing these allegations. The extortion angle is also being probed,” an officer said.
