56-year-old realtor found dead inside parked car after party in Bengaluru

BENGALURU: A 56-year-old realtor-cum-small-time financier was found dead inside his car in Electronics City Saturday.The deceased is Naryanappa, a resident of Basapura. Public called police control room in the afternoon on coming across Narayanappa sitting inside the car, next to the driver seat, unmoved. Police found he was dead and, with the help of his mobile phone found in the trouser pocket, his family were contacted.Police investigations revealed that Narayanappa, with his friends Manjunatha Reddy and Shivu, visited a bar in Electronisc City Friday night. “The CCTV footage in the bar shows Narayanappa, who was high on alcohol, finding it difficult to walk. Reddy and Shivu were seen holding his arms and bringing him out. Thereafter, Narayanappa sat next to the driver’s seat while Manjunath Reddy drove the car, owned by Narayanappa,” an officer said. Shivu separated from them outside the bar.After a couple of kilometres, Reddy, who found it difficult to drive due to his condition, parked the car by roadside. He then went home, police said. Next day, Narayanappa was found dead inside the vehicle, parked in the same place.Police have registered a case of unnatural death report and said they do not suspect any foul play. “There are no physical injuries on the body, nor had Reddy and Narayanappa fought anywhere. So, the autopsy report will reveal the reason behind the death,” police said.
