Ahmedabad: Between April 12 and 18, the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation’s health department collected 250 food samples from units across the city for laboratory testing, including 60 samples of paneer and other dairy products. During inspections, officials found that 11 food units were using analogue paneer instead of milk paneer without informing customers. Legal action will be taken against all 11 units. The units identified are: Patel Dairy in India Colony, Shrinathji Bhojanalay in Bapunagar, Jay Ambe Bhojanalay, Jay Gurudev Bhajipav Centre, Meena Hari Foods in Maninagar, Jay Bhavani Khana Khazana Restaurant in Saraspur, Baba Ramdev Dhaba in Ramol, Jay Bhairavnath Punjabi Tadka Restaurant in Vastral, Real Paprika Restaurant on Relief Road, Ramdev Dhaba in Ramol, and Hotel Gamthi in Gotani.
