Just 4.5L students confirm seats for FYJC, second allotment list on June 13

Pune: Only 4.51 lakh students confirmed their admissions in the first round of the FYJC centralised admission process that ended on Wednesday.This came after 12.51 lakh students registering online for admissions against a total intake capacity of 17.42 lakh seats. The second round of Centralised admission Process (CAP) will start on June 6.Students can correct or change the part 1 and 2 of the application forms online from June 6, 8 am to June 9, 6pm.Officials of the CAP committee have appealed to the students to fill in their preference list of at least 1 and a maximum of 10 junior colleges by ensuring that they compare the marks they secured in Std X with the cut-off marks of the junior college they wish to get admitted to and then comparing both with the vacancy in that college.The cut-off list and vacancy list are available online on the official website.The second allotment list will be declared on June 13, at 10am and students can check if a college has been allotted to them by logging in. Students, who want to confirm their admissions need to do so from June 13, 12 noon to June 16, 6 pm.As the admission forms of all the students will be unlocked in this round, it is mandatory for all the students to lock their admission forms (Part I and II) to be eligible for the next rounds.
