Kolkata: A city court on Wednesday sent Santanu Sinha Biswas, accused in a land grab and money laundering case, to judicial custody till June 1. Biswas was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED), which is probing the case.During the hearing, the counsel for Sinha Biswas raised concerns over his security inside the correctional home, arguing that he had served in several police stations and could face threats from criminals he had earlier helped arrest.Another accused in the case, Sona Pappu, sought permission to continue his medical treatment while in custody. The court sent him too to judicial custody till June 1.
