MUMBAI: Petrol price in Mumbai rose from Rs 108.49 to Rs 111.21 on Monday, an increase of Rs 2.72 per litre.Diesel price in Mumbai rose from Rs 95.02 to Rs 97.83, an increase of Rs 2.81 per litre.The hike is approximately Rs 8 in fuel prices in 11 days.The ongoing diesel price surge coupled with fuel shortages being reported in some parts of the country has become a matter of serious concern for the transport and logistics sector, said Bal Malkit Singh, former president, All India Motor Transport Congress.
