JAIPUR: Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU), Gujarat campus, in collaboration with Rajasthan Police, conducted a 50-hour capacity-building training programme for police officers under “Mission Karmayogi” from April 6-16 , officials said.The initiative is aimed at enhancing professional skills and strengthening community engagement among police personnel.The valedictory ceremony was held at the RRU campus in Gandhinagar Thursday in the presence of senior university officials and faculty members.Officials said the programme aligns with the national Mission Karmayogi framework for civil services capacity building.During the training, Rajasthan Police officers participated in interactive sessions and workshops focusing on community policing, cyber security, crime prevention, drug enforcement, domestic violence, financial fraud investigation and crowd management.Police officials also delivered lectures and engaged with students, faculty and local communities on issues such as substance abuse, women’s safety, communication and mental health.RRU officials said the programme aimed to strengthen trust between the police and the public through outreach and collaborative learning.At the end of the programme, participating officers were awarded certificates for completing the training.Officials said such initiatives are expected to improve policing standards while promoting closer engagement with society.
