New Delhi: At least six rounds were fired at a house of a Dubai-based businessman and a car in northwest Delhi’s Pitampura early Wednesday morning.No one was injured. Gangster Rohit Godara has claimed responsibility for the shooting. The target is believed to be a bookie operating under the alias “Google”. Police identified him as a Dubai-based businessman.In an audio clip shared on social media later, Godara threatened Google with consequences and said that this morning’s shooting was just a trailer.In 2021, gangster Lawrence Bishnoi had threatened a bookie by the same alias. The complainant spends most of his time in Dubai. He had not reported receiving any threats before the shooting.CCTV footage purportedly showed two shooters arriving on a motorcycle, opening fire at a house and the car, and fleeing. A senior police officer said the shooters came around 5am.A PCR call regarding the firing went to Subhash Place police station Wednesday, following which a police team reached A-Block in Lok Vihar. Three bullet marks were found on a car, and four to five bullet marks were reported on a house opposite the spot.
