Ahmedabad: Adani Total Gas Ltd’s (ATGL) consolidated profit after tax (PAT) rose 5.98% year-on-year to Rs 173 crore in the second quarter of FY27, amid higher natural gas procurement costs.Revenue from operations increased 34% year-on-year to Rs 2,102 crore. The company’s natural gas costs increased 43% during the quarter, driven by higher Brent-linked prices, the withdrawal of pooled-gas support and the continuing West Asia crisis.Average administered pricing mechanism (APM) gas allocation for ATGL’s CNG segment stood at around 25% during the quarter. The company met the shortfall through high-pressure, high-temperature (HPHT) gas, new well gas, long-term and short-term contracts, and market purchases.Sales volumes rose 12% to 315 million standard cubic metres (MMSCM). CNG volumes increased 17% to 223MMSCM, while piped natural gas (PNG) volumes grew 3% to 92MMSCM.The company said diversified sourcing and calibrated pricing helped it manage higher input costs while maintaining supply reliability and customer demand.
