Mumbai: Bhagwandas Chauhan, father of 34-year-old vlogger Umesh, who was shot at during an attack on actor Tiger Shroff, had his heart in his mouth as he rushed to Mumbai to see his son.With no direct mode of transport from his hometown of Akbarpur in Uttar Pradesh’s Ambedkar Nagar district, Bhagwandas said he had to first travel eight hours to Varanasi, before boarding a train on Tuesday morning to reach Mumbai by Wednesday afternoon.Bhagwandas (57) said Umesh is the only member of the family who left UP to work in a major city. “We found out about the incident on Monday. There are people from our district here who have been helping us,” he said.The father arrived in the city carrying nothing more than a change of clothes and a bottle of water. He will be spending the night by his side at the hospital.
