Kolkata: West Bengal Public Service Commission has published an advertisement for the clerkship examination to recruit lower division clerks for state govt offices. “The number of vacancies will be announced later,” WBPSC chairman Anil Verma said on Wednesday.The recruitment comes amid the state govt’s plan to fill up vacancies across various departments. Recently, chief minister Suvendu Adhikari announced that govt would undertake 1 lakh recruitments by March 2027, with a major share of the appointments expected to be in the police, education and health sectors.
