Hisar: Police personnel from the Hansi women police station on Sunday claimed to have arrested the Bihar resident accused of abducting and raping a minor girl.Police said they arrested the accused, Pawan, in Bihar. Earlier, police recovered the girl from Faridabad.According to the police, the girl’s mother had lodged a complaint at the Hansi women police station, alleging that Pawan had lured her minor daughter and taken her away from Hansi on Aug 4, 2026.Sub-inspector Kamla was assigned the investigation.Police said a team traced the minor during the investigation and recovered her from Faridabad. During the subsequent inquiry, allegations of rape against the accused came to light, following which relevant sections of the law were added to the FIR.The police then conducted raids at the accused’s possible hideouts and arrested him in Bihar. He was produced before a court, which sent him to judicial custody.
