NEW DELHI: A skeleton-like object was found among scrap material during a cleanliness drive in Central Delhi, prompting police to launch an inquiry, officials said on Saturday.According to Delhi Police, a scrap dealer alerted them after finding what appeared to be human remains among the material.The dealer said he had purchased the scrap from a school about a month ago and that a box containing the remains had come with it.Police told news agency ANI that the object is suspected to be biological waste from a school and may have been used as an educational sample.However, officials said it is yet to be verified whether it is an actual human skeleton or a dummy used for teaching purposes.Police are currently verifying the facts and questioning the scrap dealer and school administration in connection with the matter.Further investigation is underway.
