Chandigarh: Punjab governor and Chandigarh administrator Gulab Chand Kataria on Thursday reviewed healthcare services, ongoing development projects and infrastructure issues at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH)-32.Accompanied by health secretary Mandip Singh Brar, Kataria held a meeting with GMCH-32 director-principal Prof Ravneet Kaur and heads of departments and took stock of patient-care services and infrastructure expansion at the hospital.The administrator also discussed issues and challenges faced by doctors, faculty members, nursing staff and other healthcare professionals. He assured them of the administration’s support in addressing the issues and strengthening healthcare delivery at the institution.The meeting also reviewed recruitment of residents, procurement of medical equipment and measures to strengthen pharmacovigilance activities at GMCH-32.
