Lucknow: A woman from Agra climbed a tower near the Lucknow zoo on Monday morning, allegedly to draw the authorities’ attention to a land dispute involving her property.Police said they received information about the woman climbing the tower and immediately reached the spot. With the assistance of a fire service vehicle, the woman was persuaded to climb down safely.According to preliminary information, the woman, Tulsa, had travelled to Lucknow from Agra alleging that a neighbour had encroached upon her plot. She claimed that she had approached local police and administrative officials earlier but her grievance had not been resolved. Tulsa alleged that a man named Man Singh had occupied her around one-and-a-half bigha of land and threatened to kill her whenever she sought action.
