Colva: The night patrol team of Colva police found two minors from Mumbai who had been reported missing from their homes. They were placed at Apna Ghar, following directions from Child Welfare Committee.Police intercepted the taxi in which they were travelling, and during questioning, the minors revealed their identities and said that they had left their homes on Friday without informing their families.Police contacted their parents in Mumbai to verify their identities. It was confirmed that a family member of one of the minors had filed a missing person complaint with Mumbai police.After verification, the minors were taken for a medical examination at South Goa District Hospital and later placed at Apna Ghar as directed by Child Welfare Committee. Police said they will remain there till they are handed over to their families.
