LUCKNOW: The state government on Saturday transferred 10 senior IAS officers, relieving additional chief secretary Amit Kumar Ghosh of the health portfolio and moving additional chief secretary Ashish Kumar Goel out of the energy department.According to the order, Ghosh, who was holding charge of medical health and family welfare and medical education, has been shifted as additional chief secretary, higher education.V Hekali Zhimomi, principal secretary, forest, environment and climate change, has been appointed principal secretary, medical health and family welfare and medical education.In another major change, Goel, who was ACS, energy and additional energy, chairman of UPPCL, UPPTCL, UPRVUNL and UP power transmission corporation, and resident commissioner, New Delhi, has been posted as additional chief secretary, labour and employment.Ranveer Prasad, who was principal secretary, food and civil supplies and food commissioner, will replace Goel as principal secretary, energy and additional energy. He will also hold charge as chairman of the state’s major power sector corporations.Other transfers include Mahendra Prasad Agrawal, who moves from higher education to forest, environment and climate change, and Ravindra, who has been shifted from agriculture to panchayati raj.The reshuffle also saw changes in tourism, technical education, agriculture, stamp and registration, and labour departments as part of a broader administrative reorganisation by the state government.Among other changes, Amrit Abhijat, additional chief secretary, tourism, culture and religious affairs, has been given additional charge of the transport department along with his existing responsibilities.Anil Kumar, principal secretary, panchayati raj, has been shifted as principal secretary, food and civil supplies and consumer affairs commissioner.MN Sundaram, principal secretary, labour and employment and technical education, has been posted as principal secretary, agriculture education and research, and agriculture marketing, agricultural foreign trade and export promotion.Amit Gupta, principal secretary, stamp and registration, has been given additional charge of technical education.Ravindra Ghosh, who was serving as principal secretary, agriculture and handling allied agriculture departments, has been shifted as principal secretary, panchayati raj.
