Lucknow: Advanced technologies designed to detect concealed mobile phones and prevent unauthorised communications will take centre stage at the 3rd Police Technology Summit 2026, scheduled to be held at the Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU) Lucknow campus on Thursday.The one-day event, being organised by the AIC RRU Incubation Foundation, will bring together technology solutions aimed at police, Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), homeland security and defence agencies.A major attraction will be the live demonstration of mobile phone radio frequency (RF) detection and counter-intelligence systems aimed at enhancing security in sensitive installations.Among the systems to be demonstrated is the mobile phone presence detection system (MP2DS), designed to identify the presence of mobile phones in sensitive areas. The entrance point mobile phone detection system (EPMPDS) will focus on detecting devices at entry points to restricted premises.The event will also feature secure meeting guard (SMG), designed for sensitive meetings where unauthorised mobile devices could pose a security risk, and prison communication guard (PCG), aimed at addressing unauthorised mobile communication inside correctional facilities.
