Shimla: A state banquet was hosted in honour of President Droupadi Murmu at Himachal Pradesh Lok Bhavan on Tuesday evening, with several top dignitaries in attendance.The President arrived at Lok Bhavan around 7 pm and was received by governor Kavinder Gupta, lady governor Bindu Gupta, and chief justice Gurmeet Singh Sandhawalia.The Governor and the lady Governor felicitated the President at the Aditya Room. Murmu also interacted with members of the Governor’s family, adding a personal touch to the formal occasion.She later attended the banquet at the Darbar Hall, where prominent leaders and officials were present. Among them were Vidhan Sabha Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania, leader of opposition Jairam Thakur, deputy chief minister Mukesh Agnihotri, health minister Col Dhani Ram Shandil (retd), and education minister Rohit Thakur. Senior officials, high court judges and political leaders were also in attendance.
