Rewari: Sarpanches and residents raised demands for village infrastructure, healthcare and other development works at a public grievance redressal meeting held at Union minister and Gurgaon MP Rao Inderjit Singh’s residence in Rampura village.Sarpanches sought funds for streets, community buildings and other works under the MP Local Area Development Scheme and other funding sources. Rao Inderjit stressed accountability and quality in public works and directed officials to address grievances raised by elected representatives promptly.Gurjar community representatives sought funds for Gurjar Bhawan, for which Rao Inderjit announced a Rs 21 lakh grant.Residents also sought CHCs and PHCs in several villages. Rao Inderjit said the proposals would be examined based on the health department’s assessment and recommendations.
