Hyderabad: In a freak road accident, an unidentified person died in a road accident after he was hit by two different cars at Khajaguda on Monday. Police said two more persons suffered injuries in the accident.At 4.15 am, a 35-year-old pedestrian was crossing the road at Khajaguda when an SUV hit him. The car was moving from Nanakramguda towards Khajaguda.The car driver, Zaydshah Kadri, took the injured person into his car to shift him to a hospital. Meanwhile, another car hit the SUV, leading to the death of the unknown person already in distress. Kadri suffered injuries. The car driver involved in hitting the SUV fled from the spot.“The pedestrian sustained severe injuries and died on the spot. Innova driver Zaydshah Kadri, 21, sustained a fracture to his right leg and other injuries and was shifted to a private hospital in Gachibowli for treatment,” Raidurgam inspector T Bhupathi said.“The identity and details of the deceased are yet to be established. Citizens who can provide any information regarding the identity of the deceased person are requested to contact Raidurgam police,” police said in a note.“Preliminary information is that Kadri is a law student. We are in the process of identifying the second car involved in the accident,” sub-inspector Ravi Kumar told TOI.Police registered a case of negligence causing death against the unknown driver of the missing car.
