The system is expected to intensify further and move west-northwestwards in the coming days.Weather experts said the system could bring some rainfall to Gujarat and adjoining regions. The forecast assumes significance as the state has not received any substantial rainfall for more than a week, leading to a prolonged break in monsoon activity.
