Hyderabad: In Khammam, a dispute between a couple led to a woman allegedly killing her husband and later one of her two children. She also attempted to kill the younger child by giving her poison before attempting suicide. She stayed with the two dead bodies for two days before taking the extreme step.Khammam II town police reported that 31-year-old YouTuber K Ramu and his five-year-old daughter Divya Naini died. His wife and accused, K Ramya, and their three-year-old daughter Dikshitha are now receiving treatment.On Sunday night, a putrefied smell alerted Ramu’s brother and others to his residence at Burhanpuram. They found the door locked from the inside and, after forcefully opening it, discovered Ramu and Naini dead on the bedroom floor. Dikshitha, who had an injury on her forehead, and Ramya were unconscious. Police arrived at the scene and rushed Ramya and Dikshitha to the hospital for treatment.“The couple got married six years ago and had a strained relationship. It looks like Ramya killed her husband by giving him poison and then smothered Divya. The murder occurred two days before it was discovered. On Sunday, Ramya decided to kill her younger daughter and commit suicide,” Khammam police said, adding that they are awaiting the post-mortem examination report to determine cause of death.According to police, on Sunday morning when the neighbours enquired with Ramya about Ramu, she said that he fell ill due to sunstroke. It is learnt that before Ramya attempted suicide, she called her relatives and informed them about the murder. “We are yet to talk to Ramya, who is undergoing treatment. She is out of danger,” the II Town police said.
