Noida: Two people died and a 17-year-old boy was injured after a Nexon car crashed into a punctured Roadways bus parked on the side of the Noida Expressway near the Knowledge Park Metro Station on Saturday morning.According to police, the bus had been parked on the side of the expressway due to a punctured tyre when a Nexon car with three people inside suddenly crashed into the bus from behind. All three occupants in the car sustained injuries and were rushed to a nearby hospital, where two of them were declared dead on arrival. The third occupant, a 17-year-old resident of Aligarh district, is currently undergoing treatment.Police were informed and soon reached the spot to initiate necessary legal proceedings. Post-mortem examinations are being conducted and cops are investigating the exact sequence of events that led to the crash.The damaged vehicles have also been removed from the accident spot. Cops said the crash disrupted traffic for some time but movement was restored later in the day after the scene was cleared.Teams are also investigating why the Roadways bus was positioned on the expressway after the tyre puncture. Further legal action will be taken in accordance with the findings of the investigation, police added.
