Kolkata: Apologising for any personal attack or lack of decency by a BJP neta, the party’s state president Samik Bhattacharya said on Monday: “If anyone was hurt by any BJP neta’s words during the campaign, I apologise to him. I apologise if there was any statement which was not decent, or below the belt.”At a press conference, Bhattacharya spoke of a BJP win in Bengal and “perceptible change” in every walk of life. “The change will be comprehensive. It will not only change the vote culture in Bengal, but change will be perceptible in art and culture too. Democracy will be restored in the state,” he said.Bhattacharya said enthusiasm in voters was “unprecedented” this time and pointed towards the exit of Trinamool. “The way people have voted for 152 seats… they will vote for 142 seats with similar enthusiasm,” he added.
