Dibrugarh: One of Assam’s leading non-profit organisations, All & Sundry NGO, distributed improved vegetable seeds among 200 flood-affected families in Nazira on Sunday.The distribution took place in Nirmolia Gaon and Sundarpukhuri Gaon in Sivasagar district under the NGO’s ‘Borokhar-Beli’ campaign, which aims to create livelihood opportunities and strengthen food security.The beneficiaries received seeds of tomato, cauliflower, cabbage, coriander, spinach, white radish and chilli.Founder Abhishek Singha said the initiative would help families rebuild their financial security.“The primary agenda of the mission is to provide flood-affected families with an opportunity for financial security during this challenging time,” Singha added.
