Guwahati: Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has upgraded Netaji Vidyapith Railway Higher Secondary School in Maligaon with modern and improved facilities.The project included the construction of a G+1 RCC building with 20 classrooms and modern furniture, strengthening the school’s academic infrastructure.The works also covered a covered prayer shed and the renovation and modernisation of Subir Raha Memorial Auditorium. The school building’s facade was improved with a new canopy and exterior painting.Established on Jan 23, 1948, the school was named after legendary freedom fighter Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose.
