Yogi visits Ayodhya to pay tribute to Paramhans Ramchandra Das Maharaj

Lucknow: Chief minister Yogi Adityanath visited Ayodhya on Friday to pay respects to Paramhans Ramchandra Das Maharaj, the first president of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Trust, on his 23rd death anniversary.The CM offered floral tributes at Paramhans Ramchandra Das Maharaj’s Samadhi and paid homage to him, calling him a leading seer in the Ram Janmabhoomi movement, along with late Mahant Avaidyanath of Gorakshapeeth. “Paramhans Ramchandra Das Maharaj made an important contribution to advancing the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi movement in Ayodhya,” the CM said.The CM then visited Hanumangarhi, where he offered prayers. He then went to Imli Bagh in Hanumangarhi, where he paid tribute to the late Mahant Sant Ramdas. He then offered prayers at the Janmabhoomi temple complex.From here, the CM went to Digambar Akhara, where he attended the 23rd death anniversary commemoration of the late Paramhans Ramchandra Das Maharaj. Here he met with seers and mahants and received their blessings. The CM also visited the Sant Ravidas Temple in Raiganj, where he paid homage to Sant Ravidas and offered floral tributes to the temple’s late Mahant Poojya Banwari Pati Brahmachari.
