In Jaisalmer district, a school bus caught fire early Tuesday morning
JAISALMER: A school bus carrying around 15 children caught fire in Rajasthan’s Jaisalmer district on Tuesday morning, triggering a swift evacuation as all the children were safely brought out of the vehicle, police said.The bus was travelling from Jaisalmer towards rural areas to pick up children when it suddenly caught fire.The blaze quickly engulfed the vehicle, but the children were evacuated in time. No casualties were reported in the incident, police said.Local residents alerted the fire brigade after noticing the fire. A fire tender from the municipal council reached the spot and brought the blaze under control.The cause of the fire was yet to be ascertained, police said.(With PTI inputs)
