LDA plans 1k-acre scheme along Agra e-way
LDA to conduct inspection of buildings on SC’s direction

Lucknow: The Lucknow Development Authority has proposed a 1,035-acre Vashishthnagar scheme along the Agra expressway as part of the UP State Capital Region (UPSCR), with a focus on industrial growth, logistics and employment generation.The scheme is planned across about 1,035 acre in Revari, Bhaliya, Gahalwara, Adampur Indwara, Bahru and Jaliyamau villages. Around Rs 1,328 crore has been earmarked for land acquisition.LDA vice-chairperson Prathamesh Kumar said the project’s blueprint has been finalised and a proposal has been sent to the state govt under the chief minister’s urban expansion scheme. After govt approval, the authority will begin land acquisition through farmers’ consent and other prescribed methods.According to the LDA, the township will include industrial and logistics hubs, warehousing facilities, modern infrastructure and an integrated road network to support economic activity in the SCR. Officials said the project is expected to attract investment and generate employment.The proposed township will have direct connectivity to Agra expressway, Mohan road, the link expressway and the upcoming Varun Vihar scheme. An international bus terminal has also been planned as part of the project.Kumar said the scheme has been designed to support future industrial expansion while maintaining environmental balance through planned infrastructure and sustainable development. Once completed, the project is expected to strengthen Lucknow’s connectivity with regional and national supply chains.
