Gurdaspur SSP said the premises of both schools were sanitised
Gurdaspur: Two reputed schools in Punjab’s Gurdaspur town on Wednesday received bomb threat emails, prompting police to launch an extensive search operation. No explosive materials or suspicious objects were found.Both schools remained open and routine academic activities continued uninterrupted.Sources said administrative and security agencies were alerted immediately after the emails were received. Senior superintendent of police (SSP) Aditya said he led the search operation, during which every corner of both premises was checked. “The emails are being investigated, and efforts are underway to trace the sender,” the SSP added.
