NEW DELHI: The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has introduced its Multi-Lane Free Flow (MLFF) tolling system at the Shahjahanpur Toll Plaza on the Delhi-Jaipur section of NH-48 in Rajasthan, completing barrier-free travel across the entire Manesar-to-Jaipur corridor. The Shahjahanpur rollout follows the earlier implementation of MLFF at the Daulatpura and Manoharpura toll plazas on the same highway. With all three plazas now equipped with the system, motorists can travel the full stretch without stopping at toll barriers. The MLFF system enables barrier-less toll collection with minimal human intervention, allowing vehicles to pass through toll plazas without halting. According to NHAI, the move is expected to reduce congestion, improve traffic flow and make travel on the busy Delhi-Jaipur highway faster and more seamless.
