GURGAON: A man was killed and three others were injured after a speeding car went out of control, hit multiple vehicles and crashed into a tile showroom on Nuh Road in Haryana’s Nuh district on Wednesday evening.The accident occurred near Chharoda bus stand under the Tauru Sadar police station limits.According to police, the car first rammed into a pickup vehicle, a motorcycle and another car before crashing into the roadside showroom, damaging several vehicles parked inside and outside the premises.The deceased, identified as Kapil, a resident of Baharampur, had reportedly come to the showroom to buy tiles when the out-of-control car entered the premises and struck him.He and the other injured were taken to Shaheed Hasan Khan Mewati Medical College in Nalhad, where doctors declared him dead during treatment.The crash triggered panic in the area as locals gathered at the spot. CCTV cameras installed at the showroom captured the incident, showing the speeding car hitting vehicles on the road before crashing into the building.Police said the driver of the car sustained minor injuries and was taken to hospital for first aid. The accident-hit vehicle has been seized and an investigation is underway.Preliminary findings suggest the accident was caused by the car going out of control due to excessive speed. Police are examining CCTV footage and other evidence to ascertain the exact sequence of events.The post-mortem examination of the deceased is being conducted, after which the body will be handed over to the family. The remaining injured are undergoing treatment.
