Ahmedabad: The flagship company of ports-to-power conglomerate, Adani Enterprises Limited, on Wednesday reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 1,160 crore for the quarter ended June 30 after accounting for a one-time US office of foreign assets control (OFAC) settlement charge of Rs 2,644 crore. The flagship Adani Group company, however, posted its highest-ever quarterly EBITDA of Rs 5,642 crore, up 49% year-on-year.Total income rose 50% to Rs 33,546 crore from Rs 22,437 crore a year earlier. Excluding the OFAC settlement, profit before tax stood at Rs 1,295 crore.The airports business remained a key growth driver, with EBITDA rising 49% to Rs 1,633 crore as passenger traffic increased 3% to 24.2 million. Navi Mumbai International Airport commenced international flight operations on July 15.The copper business contributed Rs 749 crore in EBITDA during the quarter as capacity ramped up. Adani New Industries expanded its solar module manufacturing capacity to 5.7GW after commissioning a new 1.7GW production line in June.AEL also said its data centre business secured a new 400 MW hyperscale order in Visakhapatnam, taking cumulative tied-up capacity to more than 960MW. Toll collection on the Ganga Expressway commenced on May 15.During July, the company raised Rs 15,000 crore through what it described as India’s largest qualified institutional placement by a non-financial corporate. The issue attracted bids worth 3.8 times the base issue size.
