Panchkula: Haryana chief minister Nayab Singh Saini Tuesday urged all eligible citizens to ensure their names are included in electoral rolls, saying wider voter participation strengthens democracy. Addressing a tiffin meeting with Booth Level Agents (BLAs) and party workers at Manakpur village in Pinjore, he highlighted the role of BLAs in assisting citizens with voter registration and other election-related processes.The meeting was part of 30 such programmes organised across Haryana at Shakti Kendras to strengthen the party’s grassroots network.Continuing his outreach to beneficiaries of govt schemes, Saini also visited the homes of Mukhyamantri Shehri Awas Yojana-2 beneficiaries Saroj and Jayanti and shared a meal with them. Both women have been allotted 30-square-yard residential plots in Manakpur village under the scheme.
