Bengaluru: Accenture has appointed Pradeep Prabhala as head of its India Market Unit, effective Sept 1.In his new role, Prabhala will help clients in India leverage data and artificial intelligence (AI) to drive growth, improve productivity and build more agile, future-ready businesses. He will also support global enterprises in setting up and expanding global capability centres (GCCs) in India, a strategic priority for Accenture.“India is a strategic market for Accenture, and we are focused on accelerating growth here,” said Arundhati Chakraborty, global lead, finance & GCC, and executive sponsor for the India Market Unit. “As clients deepen their focus on technology-led reinvention and unlocking new value from data and AI, we see tremendous opportunity to help them lead.”Prabhala brings more than two decades of experience advising global companies on growth and enterprise transformation across AI, digital technologies, commercial excellence, supply chain transformation, mergers and acquisitions, and sustainability.Before joining Accenture, he was a partner at McKinsey & Company, where he led the firm’s consumer sector practice in India and its agriculture practice across Asia.
