Chandigarh: The draft electoral roll for the 01-Chandigarh parliamentary constituency will be published on July 21 as part of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) 2026 exercise, election officials said.The enumeration phase of the revision was conducted across UT Chandigarh from June 15 to July 14. The draft roll is being published with July 1, 2026, as the qualifying date and includes the names of electors who submitted enumeration forms during the house-to-house verification drive.Officials said citizens whose names do not appear in the draft electoral roll can apply for inclusion during the claims and objections period from July 21 to Aug 20 by submitting the prescribed declaration and supporting documents.Eligible citizens who have attained, or will attain, 18 years of age on or before July 1, 2026, can also apply for enrolment by submitting Form-6 along with the required declaration.Voters seeking correction of entries in the electoral roll, replacement of Electoral Photo Identity Cards (EPICs) or change of address can submit Form-8 online through the ECINET mobile application or portal, or offline through their respective booth-level officers (BLOs).Following the rationalisation of polling stations, the revised draft roll has been prepared in accordance with the updated polling station structure.Election authorities said citizens can seek assistance through the voter helpline number 1950 or use the “Book a Call Request with BLO” facility available on the ECINET mobile application.
