Noida: A 25-year-old woman has accused the manager of a private company in Sector 49 of sexually harassing her at the workplace and throwing her out of a moving car.A resident of Mathura, she said she came to Noida for a job interview at a real estate company for the position of a personal assistant on July 6. She alleged the man made unwanted advances towards her during the interview and sexually harassed her,following which she resisted and left immediately.A few days later, she received the offer letter and was called to join the following Sunday, which she accepted. But the misbehaviour did not stop as he continued passing lewd comments and made advances, she said.She said things got worse on July 16, when he allegedly forced her into his car and tried to sexually assault her. When she fought back, he pushed her out of the car at Sector 61 in broad daylight, leaving her injured.The woman managed to record the entire incident on her mobile phone, including videos and voice recordings.Police said she suffered injuries and immediately dialled 112 to report the incident. However, due to fear, she returned home to Mathura, and a complaint could only be filed on Sunday; however, her statement is yet to be recorded.Ram Prasad, SHO of Sector 49, said that based on her complaint, a case under Sections 74 (assault or criminal force to a woman with intent to outrage modesty and assault or use of criminal force with intent to disrobe) and 296 (obscene act) of the BNS was registered against the man at Sector 49 police station. He added that teams have been formed to nab the accused.
