Lucknow: To deliberate on multiple issues related to the agriculture sector and promote regional cooperation, the Zonal Conference-2026 will be held in Lucknow on Friday. The day-long conference will be chaired by Union minister of agriculture and farmers’ welfare Shivraj Singh Chauhan.The event will see participation from agriculture ministers and senior officials of Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Delhi, and Jammu and Kashmir. Administrators from the Union Territories of Chandigarh and Ladakh, along with senior officials from the Govt of India, will also attend the conference.A govt spokesperson said the event is scheduled to begin at 9.30 am and continue till 7.30 pm, featuring multiple sessions on agricultural development, farmers’ welfare schemes, and sectoral challenges.
