BENGALURU: Senior BJP leader and former Karnataka minister Ramachandra Gowda passed away at the age of 88 at a private hospital in Bengaluru on Tuesday. A veteran leader, Gowda was associated with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for several decades. Former Karnataka chief minister and BJP leader BS Yediyurappa expressed grief over the death of senior BJP leader and former minister Ramachandra Gowda, describing him as a “brother” and a longtime companion. In a post on X, Yediyurappa recalled their journey together since the Jana Sangh era, their efforts to build the party in Karnataka, and praised Gowda’s administrative acumen and dedication as a minister.BS Yediyurappa tweets, “I have lost yet another brother. The news of the passing of Shri Ramachandra Gowda, my soulmate of decades, senior leader, and former minister, has brought me immense sorrow.
