Tailor attacks CISF sub-inspector with scissors after argument over clothes pric in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: A minor dispute over the price of clothes turned violent after a tailor and his associate allegedly assaulted a Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) sub-inspector with a pair of scissors.Gaurav Kumar, CISF sub-inspector deployed at Kempegowda International Airport Terminal-2 for the past four years, said the incident occurred at 11.15am on July 10 when he visited a clothing and tailoring shop in Sathanur to purchase clothes.An argument reportedly broke out over the price of the clothes between shop owner Khaleem Ullah and Gaurav. He alleged that Khaleem abused him using derogatory language and ordered him to leave the shop. Moments later, during the argument, the shop owner’s associate allegedly kicked him, causing him to fall.Khaleem then attacked him with a pair of scissors used for tailoring, stabbing him in the back, Gaurav’s complaint read. He managed to escape and ran to the nearby CISF camp, where his colleagues rushed him to a hospital.Bagalur police registered a case based on Gaurav’s complaint. Khaleem also filed a complaint against Gaurav, stating he misbehaved with him and his aide. A non-cognisable report (NCR) has been registered.
