Subsequently, a sale deed was executed in the complainant’s name at the Sirauli Gauspur tehsil office. The alleged fraud came to light when the complainant and her son attempted to take possession of the land and discovered that the person who had sold the property was not its lawful owner.Police said efforts are underway to identify and arrest other persons involved in the land fraud racket.
