Bengaluru: The main accused in the daycare assault case, who was on the run after cruelty against toddlers came to light, got anticipatory bail Thursday.The accused, Manjula, was the caregiver and supervisor at the daycare centre on Capgemini campus. A senior police officer said Manjula was absconding since HAL police registered the case based on a call to child helpline (1098).“Manjula is yet to appear before the investigating officer with the anticipatory bail copy. Once she does, we will complete the procedures based on bail conditions and subject her to questioning. As of date, we have arrested only two persons in the case,” a police officer said.
