84 Teams From 58 Schools Debate Over Nat’l Security

Kolkata: Young legal minds, representing 84 teams from 58 schools from different parts of the country, gathered in Kolkata on Friday to participate in the fifth edition of National Inter-School Moot Court Competition.The competition offered students a platform to engage in simulated courtroom proceedings with the moot problem centred around national security and digital privacy. Participants presented their arguments before a panel of judges, comprising faculty members from BML Munjal University.Through the exercise, students critically examined the balance between safeguarding national interests and protecting individual rights in a digital world. Principal of The Future Foundation School, Suchindra Laha, highlighted that moot court competitions serve as a pathway for students interested in pursuing law.Ashok Hall Girls’ Higher Secondary School emerged as the winners, while The BSS School finished as runners-up.
