55% of TYBCom students clear Mumbai University exams; 8,634 results withheld

Mumbai: Of the 45,758 TYBCom students, who appeared for the final semester exams conducted by Mumbai University, over 55% of them cleared it, according to the results announced on Wednesday. The success rate is exactly the same as last year. The results are available on the university’s website: https://www.mumresults.in.Mumbai University announced the TYBCom exam results within 14 working days. Results of 8,634 students, however, have been withheld as they did not register with the Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) despite multiple reminders. Last year, too, the university had decided to hold back the results of students. The UGC has repeatedly clarified that the ABC ID is important for students, as details of the credits earned by them are made available on DigiLocker. These IDs are necessary for higher education purposes and academic verification.“The ABC ID allows students to transfer and use their accumulated credits at any university across the country…and is required for linking data with national-level government systems such as DigiLocker, the National Academic Depository, and UGC/NTA platforms,” mentioned a statement issued by Mumbai University.
