Hyderabad: Three days after a minor girl was rescued from a man who allegedly misbehaved with her, three persons, including a woman, were felicitated by Hyderabad police commissioner VC Sajjanar on Friday. After felicitating Saigel, Ganapathi and Kashinath, the police said that the accused were arrested under relevant sections of the POCSO Act and sent to judicial remand.According to police officials, Saigel and Ganapathi were riding a bike from Yousufguda to Madhapur when, en route near Jubilee Hills Road No.10, they came across a nine-year-old being misbehaved by a man. The duo, with the support of Kashinath and a few others, intervened and rescued the girl. They caught the accused on the spot before calling Dial-100. “The girl’s parents are daily wage labourers. The accused lured the girl by offering her chocolate and made her sit on his bike. She was taken to Jubilee Hills Road No.10, where he misbehaved with her,” police said.
