Hyderabad: Three persons were taken into custody by the Hayathnagar police for allegedly murdering a 22-year-old man and brutally assaulting him, including injuring his private parts.The murder took place on Wednesday night. The victim’s body was found on a bench in a burial ground at Pasumamula. On receiving information about the murder, the police rushed to the spot and found multiple bleeding injuries on the victim’s body, including injuries to his testicles. The body was shifted to a mortuary. Initially, the case was registered as that of an unidentified person. On Thursday, the victim was identified as Nihani Suhas, 22, a resident of Pasumamula.During the investigation, officials found that Suhas was acquainted with three men — Rakesh, N Parashuram and Raju. A woman, who was a close friend of the trio, was reportedly in a relationship with one of them. However, Suhas allegedly frequently messaged and called the woman, sending objectionable messages. Police are yet to disclose which of the three men was her boyfriend.“When she informed her boyfriend about Suhas’s alleged behaviour, he hatched a plan to kill him with the help of the other two friends. On Wednesday, they went to the victim’s house and forcibly took him away. Suhas’s mother tried to intervene,” the Hayathnagar police said.He was taken to the outskirts of Pasumamula village, where the three accused allegedly beat him to death. Subsequently, they shifted the body to a nearby burial ground and abandoned it on a bench.Police registered a murder case against the three accused. The victim and the accused were unemployed. Police also suspect that the accused had a financial dispute with Suhas.
